CB Johnson is a singer, songwriter and guitarist currently residing in Wilmington, NC. He has performed up and down the east coast since 2013. Influences including Jerry Garcia and the Grateful Dead, Bob Dylan, Gram Parsons, Emmylou Harris, John Prine, and the Rolling Stones inform his songwriting,  and choice of covers. He currently performs as a solo artist and in his duo, Initialize where he is the primary songwriter and lead vocalist.

CB is deeply invested in creating community that supports original music, and is the host of Wilmington's only recurring Nashville style Songwriter's Round, Rounds on the River with CB Johnson. Rounds on the River takes place monthly at Live at Ted's, Wilmington's only Woodsong Certified Listening Room. Additionally, he facilitates a songwriting workshop sponsored and supported by the City of Wilmington.
